THE ART OF ORDER

The Art of Order was created when we saw the need for a business that combined beautiful staging and helpful organizing services.

Anne Donald

I am a retired lawyer and mother of two grown boys. I attended Queen’s University (B.A. Hons) and the University of Windsor, Faculty of Law. For the past 20 years I have enjoyed working with families, seniors and low-income individuals through a variety of volunteer positions at our local school, hospital and food bank. My passion for helping people  in need and using a hands-on approach are key elements of my work. To observe the positive transformation in our clients, from feeling stressed and overwhelmed at the beginning of a project to calm and peaceful at the end is incredibly fulfilling and meaningful. When I am not working, I can be found walking my dog or hiking trails on trails of the world.

Toby MacPhee

An award-winning graduate of the Ontario College of Art and Design I have honed my skill-set in art galleries, custom framing studios and home and retail staging, developing an unlimited palette with which to create functional, harmonious and fresh environments. I enjoy the creative challenge of helping people organize and beautify their homes. Every home is a unique and interesting opportunity because  I am passionate about using what is already in the home in new ways. This work I  do is an expression of my years of practical training and artistic vision. My goal is to have people feel as though they are on vacation - in their own home everyday. In my spare time, I love to paint, listen to music and travel with my husband and two grown daughters.

What our customers are saying

Everything in its place!

" We moved from a large apartment. After the boxes were empty, we were dismayed by the looming task of storing our belongings. I used the internet to find Professional Organizers and found Toby and Anne. Today, every item in our 700 square foot apartment has a place!

It was a pleasure to hear their friendly interaction and I was encouraged with gentle humour to keep going. The experience was 100% positive.
